Shawn Theunissen, CEO, Property Point

With over 13 years of experience as both an Executive at Growthpoint Properties and the Founder and head of Property Point, a leading Enterprise and Supplier Development Organisation, Shawn currently oversees a staff contingent of 15 qualified profesionals in two separate organsiations. Shawn has also been instrumental in helping entreprenrus on the Property Point programme to navigate various challenges within their businesses including staffing and talent management. Shawn also sits as the Vice Chair Person of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce.

Nonhlanha Mayisela , CEO, Izandla Property & Chairman of The Women’s Property Network

Nonhlanhla is the Chief Executive of Izandla Property, a majority black-owned property company. Nonhlanhla is also the national chair of the Women’s Property Network (WPN), an organisation that seeks to advance the equitable representation of women in the property industry.

Jonathan Cook, Founder and Chairman of African Management Initiative

Jonathan has over 25 years experience in management education, facilitation, coaching and consulting. Prior to founding AMI, Jonathan spent almost 10 years at GIBS, one of Africa’s leading Business Schools, where he served at various times as a senior lecturer, the Director of Executive Education, Academic Director, Executive Director and finally Director of the Business School until December 2013.

Desiree Ellis, Banyana Banyana Head Coach

Coach Desiree Ellis is the Head Coach for SA National Women’s Football team, Banyana Banyana. Ellis lead the National Women’s Team to the AFCON final in 2018 which lead to them qualifying for the FIFA World Cup which took place in June this year. Coach Ellis is the first South African to win the COSAFA Women’s Championship both as player (2002) and coach (2017). She is also the first individual to lead the South African Women’s National Team to qualification for the World Cup. Coach Ellis is also the CAF Women’s National Team Coach of the Year for 2018.
